Christa Jordan Stan and Brian Wesley Free were united in marriage April 8 at Wesley United Methodist Church at Frederica on St. Simons Island. The Rev. Steve Patton officiated at the double-ring ceremony.

Nuptial music was provided by Beth Huber.

The bride is the daughter of Steve and Linda Stan, and Angela Allen, all of Brunswick, and the groom is the son of Jacky and Patty Free, also of Brunswick.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory, A-line gown with a full skirt and three-quarter-length sleeves of lace illusion. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, white roses and baby’s breath.

Valentina Huff, of Atlanta, was the matron of honor.

The bride’s attendants were Taylor Moran, Lindsay Moran and Casey Hanak, all of Brunswick, Flint Huff of Atlanta and Jay Carmichael of Tifton.

Michael Maton, of Gainesville, was the best man.

Groomsmen were Ethan Wendel and David Tanner, both of Brunswick, Derek Morgan, of Manhattan Beach, Calif., Kenny Leverett, of St. Simons Island, Jason Lim, of Savannah, and Taylor Liles, of Atlanta.

Nicholas Stan, of Atlanta, and Kevin Free, of Brunswick, were ushers.

Following the ceremony, a reception, with music provided by Boogilicious, was held in the atrium of the St. Simons Casino.

A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom’s parents, was held at Palm Coast on St. Simons Island.

Prenuptial parties included an engagement cruise hosted by Slade and Kalena Turner and Powell and Angela Allen, and a couple’s shower, hosted by the bride’s attendants.

After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides on St. Simons Island, where the bride is employed as the procurement coordinator at the Brunswick-Glynn County Joint Water and Sewer Commission, and the groom is employed as a senior design engineer with SourceOne Corp.
