Miss Karmin Lariscy and Mr. Drew Miller were united in holy matrimony on March 25, 2017, at five o’clock in the afternoon on Marshlanding at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Brunswick. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. William Ligon Sr., pastor of Christian Renewal Church, and blessings were spoken over the couple by the groom’s mother and the bride’s father. The bride’s parents hosted a buffet dinner and reception in the Magnolia Ballroom with tables adorned with pink satin runners and tea pots with pink and white peonies, roses, alstroemerias, dogwood blooms and baby’s breath. The beautiful three-tiered almond flavored wedding cake with creamy butter cream icing was baked by Mrs. Betty Zeigler and enhanced with cascading pink and white roses, seeded eucalyptus, and ming fern.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Lariscy of Brunswick and the granddaughter of Mrs. Geraldine Peebles and the late Pete Peebles of McRae, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Lariscy of Sylvania, Ga. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Miller of Sylvester, Ga., and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Newell of Doerun, Ga., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Miller, formerly of Donaldsonville, Ga.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless ivory ball gown with a sweetheart neckline, appliquéd beaded corset bodice and lace-up back. The skirt was soft ivory tulle with a chapel-length train. She wore her mother’s finger-tip veil adorned with lace edging and appliqués, and carried a hand-tied bouquet of white and pink roses and baby’s breath with a white satin bow embellished with an heirloom handkerchief from the groom’s mother.

Miss Kellen Lariscy and Miss Kandace Lariscy, sisters of the bride, both of Brunswick, served as her maids of honor. Bridesmaids included Ms. Bethany Jones of Maitland, Fla., Mrs. Holly Jones of Jesup and Ms. Jennifer LaPage of Columbus, Ga. They wore floor-length gowns in shades of pink chiffon. Each carried a hand-tied bouquet of pink roses, white carnations and baby’s breath.

Mr. Dan Miller served as his son’s best man. Groomsmen included Devin Adams of Dothan, Ala., Lenny Davis of Sylvester, Ga., Brian Devany of Houston, Texas, Michael Milling of Albany, Ga., and Chase Newell of Kingsland, Ga. They wore black tuxedos with pink vests and ties and white rose boutonnieres.

Mrs. Cindy Zangla served as wedding coordinator, and Mrs. Patti Williams was florist and decorator. Other organizers included Mrs. Page Holder, Mrs. Debbie Kennedy, Mrs. Linda Carpenter, Ms. Stephanie Carpenter, Mrs. Margie Morgan and Mrs. Gail Owens. The previous night, a rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at Captain Joe’s Seafood Restaurant in Brunswick.

The bride is a graduate of Christian Renewal Academy and College of Coastal Georgia. She is employed by Xytex Corp. in Atlanta. The groom is a graduate of Worth County High School, Valdosta State University and Darton College. He is employed by Emory-St. Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta.

Following a honeymoon in St. Lucia, Karmin and Drew will reside in Acworth, Ga.
