Rebecca Anne Robinson and Mark Eric Davis, both of St. Simons Island, were united in marriage on Jan. 7 at Wesley United Methodist Church at Frederica on St. Simons Island.
The Rev. Steve Patton officiated at the double-ring ceremony, and music was provided by Beth Huber.
Given in marriage by her brother, Rob Robinson, the bride wore a Pnina Tornai gown selected at Kleinfeld NYC. The couture gown, in ivory, with a fitted mermaid silhouette, featured a soft V-neck bodice detailed with hand-sewn romantic lace subtly embellished with crystals. The gown also featured long illusion sleeves with delicate lace trim. The gown, with its open back with covered buttons, met a ruffled rosette that led to a tiered flare sweep train in tulle. The bride wore her mother’s heirloom pearl necklace, and the groom’s mother’s legacy gold bracelet. The ensemble was completed with a matching cathedral veil with lace accents, also by Pnina Tornai. She carried a bouquet of white peonies and roses accompanied with greenery, and adorned with a satin bow and tulle accent.
Caroline Pace Davis and Virginia Martin Davis, the daughters of the groom, both of St. Simons Island, were the flowergirls.
A prenuptial party was held at the home of Mark and Carol Davis, parents of the groom, of St. Simons Island, and formerly of Albany.
The rehearsal dinner was held at Halyards on St. Simons Island.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Sea Island’s Broadfield Plantation, and Kevin Dunn provided the entertainment.
After a month-long honeymoon to Australia and New Zealand, the couple resides on St. Simons Island, where Mrs. Davis is CEO and business broker at Practice Sales Advisors and Mr. Davis is vice president of AMB Wealth.
