Georgia Department of Transportation officials report that Interstate 95 is now open to northbound traffic in Glynn County, following a fatal crash at 7 a.m. at Exit 38 that forced its closure.
Emergency radio traffic indicated the crash involved an overturned tractor trailer,and Glynn County Police Chief Matt Doering said there was one fatality as a result.
A crash that resulted in a fatality on in Interstate 95 this morning has closed northbound traffic on the thoroughfare at Exit 38 in Glynn County, County Police Chief Matt Doering said. Traffic is being detoured from Exit 38 onto the Spur 25 to State Highway 99, and then back onto I-95 at Exit 42. The crash occurred at about 7 a.m. No further details are available.
