Dollie Anne Ream Dry died Jan. 7, 2017, at her residence on St. Simons Island, Ga.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Bob Dry.
Dollie Anne was born in Oklahoma City in 1931 and moved to Wichita, Kan., when she was 6 years old. She attended the University of Oklahoma and was employed by Braniff Airways, which ignited her lifelong love of travel. When she married Bob they always had travel on their agenda, often taking all four of their children with them. The family moved to Norman, Okla., then Corpus Christi, Texas, and finally settled on St. Simons Island, which was their home for more than 35 years. She is survived by her children, Jim, Leslie, Amy and Blaine; six grandchildren, Chelsea, Hayley, Ream, Emma, Dahlia and Julia; and one great-grandchild, Grady.
A celebration of Dollie Anne’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at Wesley United Methodist Church at Frederica.
