Lori Ann Ryals Proctor, 50, of Brunswick, Ga., passed away Monday, Oct. 10, 2016, at her residence.
Lori was a native of Glynn County and the daughter of the late Lee Ann Ryals. She attended Glynn Academy High School, and resided in Brunswick in Brunswick most of her life with her husband, Jeff.
She was a member of St. Simons United Methodist Church, and she also enjoyed worshipping at St. Simons Community Church. As a hobby, she enjoyed supporting Goodwill Charities.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff, of Brunswick, Ga., father-in-law, the Rev. Don Proctor, and mother-in-law, Mable Proctor, whom she called “Mama,” of St. Simons Island; daughter, Marjorie Nicole (Proctor) Osika (Drew) and two grandchildren, Savannah and Hunter Osika, all of Clearwater, Fla.; sister-in-law, Donna Proctor Nedik of Port Orange, Fla.; brother-in-law, Alan Proctor (Diana) of Jacksonville, Fla.; cousins, Eva Holmes Hilliard (Ricky) of Brunswick, Ronnie Holmes of Tampa, Fla., and Randy Holmes of Jonesboro, Ga.; special beloved friend, Tracy Martin of Townsend; her beloved pet “Little Man” and other relatives.
Lori had been under the care of Hospice of the Golden Isles in her home for a few days when Hurricane Matthew and loss of power required evacuation. She passed away within 24 hours of returning home with no power.
She was grateful to Hospice of the Golden Isles.
Her family has planned a memorial service at 4 p.m. Nov. 25 near the Proctor Prayer Bench at Epworth by the Sea.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Golden Isles Cremation Center.
